The Snow Frogs Golf League has been established.  The coordinator, Mike Kendal will be collecting $10 per person at the meeting to cover prizes for the season.  Checks would be appreciated, made payable to THE PITTSBURGH CLUB.  Notification has been sent out to all those who registered.  If you havenít received it or have any questions, be in touch with Mike.  352-259-5284. 


The Christmas Party will be held in the Americana Room on our regular meeting night, Thursday, December 15, 2016.  Because the Club is subsidizing the cost of this event, attendees will enjoy a buffet catered by Cathyís Classy Catering and music by Bobalou for $25.  Sign up at the October meeting. The menu:  

Smothered Chicken with creamed spinach, fresh mozzarella cheese and tomato
Glazed Pork Loin
Tri-colored tortellini
Sweet potatoes
Herb roasted white potatoes
Rolls and muffins
Coffee, Ice Tea, and Eggnog with orange juice


The Pittsburgh Club Cruise, hosted by diamond-plus, veteran cruiser, Beverly Harriett, will be on Royal Caribbeanís new ship:  Harmony of the Seas.  Itís a 7-night Eastern Caribbean adventure January 7-14, 2017.  Cabins range from $1179 inside to $1629 for an Ocean Balcony with a $50 per stateroom onboard credit.    Itís the worldís largest ship which means more things to do.  Among its unique features is the ULTIMATE ABYSS: it towers 50 feet above sea level and is the tallest slide at sea.  Brave guests on mats will drop 100 feet from Deck 16 to Deck 6 through twists and turns of this record-setting attraction.  Their Broadway production will be Grease. The bionic bar is staffed by a pair of Maker Shaker robotic bartenders that mix and shake cocktails to the rhythm of music.  The ship provides 20 dining options offering an expansive menu and houses an open air Aqua Theater with shows featuring high dives and water dancing performances.     Beverly can be reached at 751-5762.
